Meet Mr. Inyalio John Robert

Early life and back ground

My name in Inyalio John Robert, born on 5th August 1982 in Karipanyang village, Chodong
parish, Kidongole subcounty, Bukedea district, in the eastern region of Uganda.
I grew up in a humble rural family where faith, hard work and community were central to life. My childhood was shaped by the realities of rural poverty, long walks to school, limited educational materials and the constant struggle of families to provide for their children. These experiences planted in me a deep desire to create change through education. Even as a young boy, I believed that learning could transform not just individuals, but the entire communities. This conviction became the guiding light of my life’s journey

Education and journey

My educational path began in 1990 at Chodong primary school, a public school in my area of birth, where I studied until 1997. Despite the many challenges of rural schooling especially, the death of my father in 1994, I remained dedicated and performed well. In 1998, I joined secondary school and continued with strong determination to succeed. After completing my secondary studies, I pursued a professional career in education- believing that teachers hold the key to unlocking the potential of future generations From 2002 to 2005, I attended Kabwangasi primary teachers college where I obtained a grade 111 teaching certificate. This training deepened my understanding of child development and effective teaching methods.

In 2009, I attained another certificate in education from Kampala International University, majority in early Child Hood Education. This is due to my desire to work closely with the young children basing on the tense struggles I went through while still young. In 2013, I enrolled at Uganda Martyrs University where I earned a Diploma in Education in 2016. I continued to build my educational and professional foundation at the same institution, completing a bachelor’s degree in education from2016 to 2019. I have just finished my Master’s degree in education(2020-2025) at Uganda Martyry’s university, with a focus on educational leadership and administration. My academic journey reflects my life long commitment to excellence, growth, and service to the education sector.

Professional Journey and leadership

In 2006, I began my teaching career at Chodong primary school, with hope of joining to teach in public schools which didn’t go well as I wasn’t taken by the government. I then came to central Uganda looking for teaching opportunities in 2007 where I joined Good Shepherd, Child Care Centre, now known as Mustard seed primary school which is run by Tree of Life Ministries serving as a head teacher. In 2010, I was promoted as a head of education department in Tree of life ministries, overseeing the operation of Mustard Seed Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools. This role has expanded my scope of service and leadership. Here, I oversee multiple education projects, develop teacher training programs and implement initiatives that improve both access to and quality of education to children. These leadership roles have shaped my vision for holistic education-one that nurtures both the mind and the heart.

As an educational leader, I emphasize transparency, collaboration, and impact. Every decision I make is guided by the principle of stewardship- ensuring that all resources are used to transform the lives of children and strengthen communities.
