Our Plan

It Starts With the Children

Our first project is WE Nursery School in Lukaya, Uganda – a place where the youngest and most vulnerable children can simply be children.
Every day they will have access to:

  • Early Learning that builds language, curiosity, and confidence.
  • Daily Nutrition to fuel growing minds and bodies
  • A safe, caring environment during the years that matter most

The science is clear – and so is our conviction. What happens in a child’s earliest years shapes everything that cones after. When we invest in children now, we are planting seeds that will grow for generations.

Families Are Part of the Plan

We know children don’t thrive in isolation. They thrive when the people caring for them have stability, skills, and hope. That’s why we will also offer vocational training for adult caregivers. Practical skills – like tailoring, hairstyling, and farming – that translate directly into local income and lasting independence. When a caregiver has a trade, a household becomes more stable. When a family is stable, a child can grow. Its a cycle – and we’re here to start it.

Our Five-Year Plan

We plan to build something the community can own. Our Five year plan takes a phased approach – starting with the children, expanding to families, and growing into a fully community-led model that sustains itself long after the first seeds are planted.

Year 1-2 – Lay the Foundation
Open the nursery school. Launch the vocational training. Build trust and relationships within the community.

Year 2-3 Deepen the Roots
Grow enrollment. Strengthen programming. Begin training the community members to lead.

Year 3-4 Build Toward Independence
Shift leadership into local hands. Develop community-owned income streams that sustain the work

Year 4-5 Measure, Learn, Grow
Evaluate impact. Refine the model. Prepare to bring what works to other communities.

What WE are Working Toward

A child who arrived hungry and uncertain – leaving school each day fed, safe, and excited to learn.
A grandmother with a skill, an income, and a renewed sense of possibility.
A village that became the proof that transformation is possible.
This is what lasting impact looks like, And it starts right now, in Lukaya.
